Whether it is for date night, a special anniversary, or just a weekend treat for you and a friend. This cheesecake delivers maximum indulgence with zero waste.

Ingredients

  • 5 plain biscuits

  • 25 g unsalted butter

  • 80 ml cream

  • 150 g cream cheese

  • 30 g icing sugar

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 Cadbury Crunchie bar (approx. 50g), chopped into small pieces

Directions

  • Make the base: Place the biscuits in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin until they resemble fine breadcrumbs. Mix the crumbs with the melted butter in a small bowl until evenly coated.
  • Layer the jars: Divide the buttery biscuit mixture evenly between two small glass jars (about 250ml size works perfectly). Use the back of a spoon to press the crumbs down into a firm, flat base. Pop the jars in the fridge while you make the filling.
  • Whip and mix: In a medium bowl, whip the thickened/heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, icing sugar, and vanilla extract together with an electric mixer until completely smooth.
  • Combine: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula until fully combined. Finally, fold in the chopped Crunchie bar pieces.
  • Assemble and chill: Spoon the cheesecake mixture over the prepared biscuit bases. Cover the jars and refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours (or overnight) so the flavours meld.
  • To serve: Top with an extra sprinkle of crushed Crunchie right before eating to make sure the honeycomb stays crisp!
